*The Festival Masterclasses
*The Masterclass venue has changed. Due to the high demand for tickets, the Masterclasses will be held in the Forum Building. The Forum building is located South of the theater, or to the Left of the theater, looking from the parking lot. There will be directional signs posted on the lawn for the attendees.
The festival in known for bringing world-class teachers to our Masterclasses. These classroom-style guitar lessons are open to the public for viewing (auditing.) At each Masterclass, four "students" (of all ages and levels) each play a short piece for the Maestro and receive invaluable instruction.
We are proud and honored to present three world renowned Master-Teachers:
David Tanenbaum - Internationally recognized guitarist & teacher. David Tanenbaum is currently Chair of the Guitar Department at the highly-regarded San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he received the 1995 Outstanding Professor Award, and he has been Artist-In-Residence at the Manhattan School of Music. He is in demand for Masterclasses worldwide. David Leisner - Multitalented, guitarist/composer & renowned teacher. Mr. Leisner taught at the New England Conservatory for 22 years and currently is Co-Chair of the Guitar Department at the prestigious Manhattan School of Music in New York City. Berta Rojas - She has been called, "The First Lady of Guitar" and "The Ambassodor of Classical Guitar." Don't miss this opportunity to receive instruction from this renowned virtuoso guitarist and teacher from Paraguay.
The prices for our Masterclasses have remained the same since the 1999 Festival!
And the 4 students in each Masterclass will also receive two Auditor tickets at no charge.

FRIDAY: 4:00 - 6:00 pm: DAVID LEISNER Masterclass. (Attend this Masterclass before the Opening Night concerts) SATURDAY: 9:00 - 11:00 am: DAVID TANENBAUM Masterclass
SUNDAY: 9:00 - 11:00 am: BERTA ROJAS Masterclass.
